Hi, friend! I’m Maya, though some folks call me Mystic Maya.
I’m a multidimensional Artist and Space Holder.
I’ve always listened to my inner voice telling me that I should do things differently—that I was meant to live an inspired and creative life without separation—since I was a rebellious teenager getting tattoos on the Venice Beach boardwalk with my best friend. I was in full teenage discovery mode, awakening to my Creative Mystic, when I made my first choice: to embellish the Seed of Life—a sacred geometry symbol using mathematical formulas to explain the nature of life—on my left arm.
The 7-circle pattern symbolizes the wisdom of growth, development, and creativity.
Little did I know that my first tattoo was really a clue toward my purpose: guiding Creative Mystics in finding harmony in both the physical and divine worlds.

At 22, I manifested my first entrepreneurial experience. I co-founded a coffee roasting business with three close friends—Bentpenny Coffee Roasters. We had the desire to bring small-batch, high-quality coffee to our community!
For me, Bentpenny Coffee Roasters shone a light on the power of intentional and distinct design, and how branding is all about crafting a memorable experience.
For the first time in a long time, I felt likeI was able to understand my passion within the vast world of graphic design.
Growing up, I was always wild-hearted, multi-passionate, and curious. I carried that energy with me through all my journeys, including my first awakening experience when I chanted Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.
As someone who grew up in a Jewish home, it took me a few minutes to release the guilt of trying something new, but the moment I was able to harmonize with the healing sound at hand, there was a compelling click within me that awakened my courage.
After that, I chose to invest in my own truth.
I was scared, yet empowered. I was alone, yet united with everything around me.
When I sat in meditation, my next steps became clear:
I needed to move from California to Tel Aviv. As I booked my flight, the lights in my home began to flicker, and I took it as a positive sign. I landed at the Ben Gurion International Airport with two suitcases and a hopeful heart.
I was open like the ocean and ready to discover who I was on a deeper level—without the expectations of others distracting or weighing me down.
With these grounding insights, and the ebs and flow of life, I set out on another journey in 2021: Going back to Caliiiifornia!
I was ready to question everything I had learned, cultivate harmony within, and continue being present on my path as a Creative Mystic.
I’m so grateful for all the opportunities that opened up for me since I landed back home.
